Woman From Thar Passes CSS After Studying on YouTube

Kiran Khatri, a resident of Mithi in Sindh’s Tharparkar area, has accomplished an amazing feat by joining the inland revenue service after completing the Central Superior Service (CSS) exam.

She is unique among Hindu girls from Tharparkar in that she is the first woman from Thar to pass the exam, according to her own statements. In all of Sindh, she is the third Hindu female to accomplish this important feat.

Kiran had originally intended to join the police, but she was chosen for the inland revenue sector. She anticipated the significant responsibilities that will go along with her new post and that her training will begin in October.

In 2020, Kiran graduated with her MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshoro. She then pursued her house career at Civil Hospital in Hyderabad in 2021. She then served as a lecturer at Tando Mohammad Khan’s Indus Medical College.

Kiran’s house employment made her acutely aware of the difficulties experienced by physicians, which inspired her to study for the CSS exam. With the assistance of her father, who works as a deputy director in the education department, Kiran dutifully studied at home in Mithi.

Kiran made use of social media by curating her profiles to only feature CSS-related stuff. She is appreciative of her parents’ support during her journey.

There are 1.6 million people living in Tharparkar, the largest district in Sindh by land, with around half of them being Hindu. Hindus make up about 30% of the medical personnel of Sindh’s health department, including a sizable proportion of female physicians.
