Top 10 Travel Destinations UAE Residents Can Visit This Eid-ul-Adha

Less than a week remains until the longest official holiday of the year, and airports in the UAE are prepared to receive millions of travellers as locals take advantage of the six-day Eid Al Adha weekend, which will be followed by a two-month summer vacation.

The bulk of summer reservations, according to dnata Travel, are for Eid Al Adha. According to their statistics, bookings account for 80% of all international travel and only 20% of staycations in the United Arab Emirates. They also disclosed the top 10 tourist destinations for the summer of 2023, which are Thailand, Turkey, Italy, the United Kingdom, Greece, the Maldives, Bali, Mauritius, Switzerland, and Oman.

From June to September 2023, there will be an 18% increase in international travel reservations compared to the same time last year, according to experts.

Thailand is the most frequently booked location for the summer, representing 23% of all dnata Travel reservations. Bangkok, the country’s capital, and the islands of Phuket and Krabi are Thailand’s top three tourist destinations for visitors from the UAE.

Travellers have a strong desire to discover more of the world, including lesser-known locales and varied sites inside well-known attractions, according to Meerah Ketait, the head of Retail and Leisure UAE. In comparison to the same period last year, travel to Greece in particular has increased significantly. Interest in Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Singapore, and Sri Lanka has also increased.
