The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) for this year will be place on August 27th, according to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Commission (PMDC).
The council opted to adopt last year’s curriculum for this year’s test during their second meeting to make it simpler for pupils throughout the nation and because of time constraints.
It would have been challenging to develop a new curriculum quickly because the existing one was authorised by the academic board. Also problematic about this is that the federal government has not yet established a new board.
The MDCAT registration website will be accessible for 15 days beginning in early July, according to a statement from PMDC. The PMDC has also been in touch with the federal health secretary and all of the provincial health secretaries to ask them to nominate a university in their jurisdiction to host the test in accordance with the authorised curriculum.
